Time to do it Again!

I wanted to let you know that once again, I am participating in Tour DaVita.  This September we will ride through Wisconsin to raise awareness about kidney disease.  Last year, with your help,  I was fortunate enough to raise over $1,500.  This year, I have increased my goal to try and reach $2,000.  I will need your support and encouragement again this year to meet those goals!

Kidney disease is a serious problem that affects 20 million Americans.  One in nine Americans actually has kidney disease, but few know it. I am among many people across the country riding in the event and raising funds for The Kidney TRUST.  I support the TRUST’s mission of creating a world of hope, health, action and engagement for those affected by chronic kidney disease.

 I'm hoping that you will be part of my support team. Any amount you can give will make a difference.  More importantly, be an advocate to others reminding them to have their doctor check their kidney function.  People with Diabetes, High Blood Pressure or a Family History of Kidney Disease are at a higher risk.  Take Action Now!

What can you do?

Spread the Word.  Let friends & family know about the Tour DaVita.  Encourage all to have kidney function tested.  Kidney Disease needs to be stopped.  Do your part!
