A Message From Alexandra Schaal

Thank you for your interest in sponsoring me for 2018 Tour DaVita! Your support – whether moral, financial or both – is very important!

Since I started working for DaVita over three years ago, I've heard of Tour DaVita, but this is the first year I have been able to register for this multi-day event.  At my clinic in South Sacramento (and other clinics I've helped at), I see first hand how Chronic Kidney Disease and access to health care affects people around us, so I can only imagine what it's like in other places. I'm very excited to participate in this year's Tour DaVita for the unique cycling experience and to support our beneficiary!

Tour DaVita's beneficiary is the Bridge of Life (BOL), a nonprofit organization founded by DaVita, Inc. working to strengthen healthcare in underserved communities around the globe. BOL serves thousands of men, women and children through four programs: kidney care, primary care, chronic disease prevention, and kids’ camps. (You can learn more about BOL to the left.) By supporting me on this ride, your tax-deductible donation will help to strengthen healthcare in underserved communities around the globe.

If I can meet my fundraising goal by the mid-summer deadline, I’ll be on track to ride with the rest of the group from September 22-26. I’d appreciate your support – any amount will help!

Feel free to share this link with anybody else who would also like to donate to the Bridge of Life.

Thank you very much!!!

Better get to my training, gotta get those miles in!

Update: over 2300 miles logged on my bike(s) for 2018 as of July 20!
